Open Doors, Open Minds
During my third year of university, I had the amazing opportunity to collaborate with students from Stuttgart. The brief was called 'open doors, open minds' and was focusing on the collaboration of the twin cities 'Cardiff' and 'Stuttgart'
From this brief I decided to focus on Cardiff and how we take the world around us for granted. When completing this brief I stayed in contact with the Stuttgart Students and tried to focus on some of the aspects they found interesting when visiting Cardiff. This led me to look at different buildings around us that interested them but as something I took for granted whilst living and studying in Cardiff.
As this was part of a comic festival, I decided to make my eight pages a silent narrative by using a cat strolling around Cardiff. This made it very personal to me as I based the cat with a bow tie from my own cats at home.
