Experimenting is a crucial part of my process when creating my work. This page is dedicated to display a range of different processes that I've used to create my final outcomes. I feel this is very important when viewing my work, as it shows the deeper meaning behind the images whilst showing the process.
Here is a process that I used for my self directed brief, I aimed to collect many textures from objects and plants. To do this I used a putty rubber which could mold into the textures that I placed it on. Using a large ink pad, I then pressed my inked mold onto my book and was left with a print.
For the same directed brief, I used the same ink pad and collected various types of plants. I made sure to get good coverage and a large amount of pressure to create some highly detailed prints. Experimenting is one of my favourite processes, this technique was able to achieve such a high level of detail and I had so much fun with it.
